Every year, Sydney harbour lights up with, well, lights! Displays are projected onto buildings, animations play to music and the streets swell. This year’s Vivid was pretty good. I’ve only been to one other Vivid, two years ago, and it was a rainy day. I heard lots of praise for this year’s display – my mum’s coworker went and saw it three times. It didn’t come across as wow-factored to me but it was still quite spectacular, and I had a great night! Here are some photos for you guys; credits to my boyfriend’s S3 and his trigger happiness, haha.

Told my boyfriend off for taking photos of other girls ;)
I loved this one! Our iconic Opera House… that I don’t remember ever being inside.
I took this photo with my boyfriend holding onto me by the hood, just in case I fell into the harbour for the sake of art.
This little place could be decorated with your ‘own design’ from a touchscreen.
Lego blocks! It looked cooler when they were building
Customs House. There’s a nice library inside that I go to for books and to write.
There was a small stage for people to line up and ‘dance in tune with the building’. Cool stuff.
It seems we lightbulbed a couple in the middle of a romantic smooch. Ooopss.
My boyfriend really liked the 3D cube.
