Art, Design, Editing, and the Nuances of Storytelling According to Kisa Whipkey
Yes! Large chunks of my early drafts were completed during the hour’s commute to work (and the hour back). A great way of switching off from the day-to-day grind and keeping connected with the great dream. Some of that work even made it into the final version, so it proved productive. I have to agree with J.G. though – writing on the train is fine, but buses are just way too bumpy. And you get people reading over your shoulder which makes you feel like a bit of a freak or fraud.
Let’s say I’ve tried to write on public transit, but it’s too bumpy to really get anything more than a sentence :)
